Will was a great server, helpful. He checked on us enough to make sure we were taken care of, but not so much that we felt uncomfortable. Mixed drink was wonderful, and everything came out timely. Chips for the appetizer and the browned meat were a little burnt, but the entrees were delicious. We will visit again.
My sister, a friend and I stopped in on Sunday after doing some Christmas shopping. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Our waitress was new and in training. Our ordered taken, but when delivered, was delivered by another waitress. We had some type of burnt item in our basket of chips. We asked another waitress what it was, " oh probably something from the fryer." I then bit into a boneless wing, and it had a hair cooked into it.( 20-25 minutes had gone by without a waitress). My sister then went to scoop some dip from the bowl for her pretzel and pulled out a long hair from the bottom of the bowl. We finally flagged one of the waitresses and told her of everything. She deducted some cost, but the whole experience turned us off from Applebee's....and yes there was a male there whom we assume was the manager, knew what was going on, but never came to us in person.
I used to love going here for there potato twist and dip, they were absolutely my favorite and we would go all the time. Now that they took them off the menu we don't go there much anymore.
Went in after work with co workers for a quick drink last night (Saturday 11/18). I admit it was midnight but they are open until 1am. When we walked in, we were asked where we wanted to sit and then were told no matter where we picked, we would be pissing off the server. The bartender was completely rude and kept talking about how she wanted to get out of there. She had a really bad attitude. Our server was okay. Two of us ordered food. It came out quickly and correct. I tried to order a drink but my ID was expired so I stuck to water (not the server’s fault. He was just doing his job). Most of us didn’t order food because of the rude staff even though we were starving. Waited way too long for checks and boxes. And they started sweeping and turning off the TVs and radio while we were still eating and waiting for our checks. Now, we are all servers and I am a bartender. We know how it can be but we would never, NEVER treat people like that no matter how late they came in. The worst part was that the manager was sitting at the bar the whole time! He saw what was going on! I would be fired if I did any of that as a bartender at my place of employment! I refuse to go back if that’s how they treat customers.
The service from the waitress was very good however the food was not good, some was cold and it took over an hour to even get our food. The portions were unusually small. We have always enjoyed Applebee's in the past but for some reason the food was different last night. Maybe it is the individual location that is the problem. I hope it's not all of the Applebee's because I usually like their food.
